The microwave oven was supposed to serve as a mold but Jay’s head was stuck and his friends took 90 minutes attempting to free him from it. Before it all happened, the oven was filled with seven bags of Polyfilla and Jay’s head was wrapped in a plastic bag and started to stick it into the oven.

He can only breathe through an air tube from his mouth, however, as Polyfilla gets harder Jay can hardly breathe through the air tube and they called up the ambulance crew and the fire brigade.

Commander Shaun Dakin said in a statement, “As funny as this sounds, this young man could easily have suffocated or have been seriously injured. Taking the microwave apart was tricky because a lot of it was welded. We video-called out technical rescue colleagues for advice and eventually managed to get him unstuck. It took us nearly an hour to free him.”

After being posted on YouTube, a lot of netizens criticized Jay for wasting the emergency services time. But despite criticism, Jay expressed his gratitude to the people who save him.
