We know that dating can be tricky and would probably not come off as easy for some people. However, this guy just simply nailed it by following dating advice from the most unlikely person.
Jake, a college student, simply went against the flow by asking valuable advice…from his professor. His mentor introduced him to something technical instead and straight off the books, the ‘textbook theory’, which uses the three types of persuasion: ethos, pathos, and logos.
Ethos simply a way of showing that the persuader is credible, pathos a way of stimulating an emotional response, and lastly, logos a method of persuading by reason.
Putting these details into a draft, Jake soon put his plan into action and asking out the girl he likes, Hannah.
Applying carefully the ‘textbook theory’, he formulated it into a text that’s meant to ask her on a date.
And it turned out to a smashing success.
He then posted photos of the two of them together having a good time.
Do you think he just got lucky or does the theory really work?
