Teacher Gave His Shoes Up To Another, On One Condition
Vohn Lewis, a 4th Grade substitute teacher at George Mason Elementary School in Richmond, Virginia, spotted one 5th grader’s parent and guidance counselor panically searching for supplies to repair the graduate’s peeling, ripped and tattered shoes.
Vohn stopped the commotion and volunteered himself with his shoes after finding out that he and the graduate were wearing the same size of 10. Vohn proceeded to take off his shoes and gave them to the graduate, with one condition, that he will not hesitate to do the same thing Vohn had done for someone in need.
After this incident, Vohn sat down at the hallway with the other graduates, until the end of the ceremony and reception.
