A bank in UBS reported that their toilets were apparently clogged with these hefty sums – but wait! It’s just not them! Three more restaurants in Geneva reported the same thing. Although the biggest mystery of all is who in their right mind would want to flush a fortune down a toilet? Investigators came to believe that the money is actually from two Spanish ladies. They had a safe deposit in the bank.

In fact, the staff from both the bank and restaurants were surprised this ‘dirty money’ showed up in their respective toilets. Up to this moment, it remains a mystery, but people had a good laugh about it.

All in all, the money amounted to a total of 84,000 euros but is believed that more money was actually flushed into the sewers.

Up to this moment, police couldn’t pinpoint who is exactly behind this scheme nor their reasons to flush out such amounts.

The restaurant owners were not so happy with the money that magically appeared in their toilets as well. According to reports, they have to spend a lot for repairs of these clogged toilets!

Any theories on where this ‘dirty money’ came from?
