From the village of Pachkhura, 11-year old Manasi has been suffering from an explainable condition. For two weeks now, she had been shedding cotton-like tears and no one can explain it. The sixth-grader has apparently been producing almost 40 of these from her eyes.
Throughout their village, people began to ignore the child, and her parents, being superstitious, even though that his own child is possessed!

A local doctor came and eventually suggested to her family to seek out the help of an ophthalmologist that could treat young Manasi’s condition.
According to Dr. Navneet Saxena from Medical College in Jabalpur, this could be due to an allergic reaction that leads to white discharges from the eye. Another doctor, Dr. Pawan Setak however, leads to believe that this is due to vitamin D deficiency.
As of now, the young girl still does not have an accurate diagnosis of her condition.
As eccentric as her condition is, there were almost similar cases like hers that were reported in the past. There was a girl, Saadiya Saleh who had been shedding stone tears, and Laura Ponce who had been crying white crystals in a span of 20 years.
