Iliana and Joe, self-confessed avid Crossfitters, simply broke the internet as photos of their engagement shoot went viral.

This is not the traditional engagement shoot you would expect from a couple. The photos are adorable yet intimidating at the same time because they held their shoot in a place you would least expect: the gym.

The couple, first met in Sea World in Orlando, Florida where they’re both working. During that time, Joe was already doing Crossfit training for two years prior to the meeting. However, soon, Iliana also found herself hooked and the couple started investing long hours in the gym. It had become their passion.

“It’s a hobby we are both really passionate about and that’s something we like to do together. It’s really fun that you can share it with somebody that you love.” Iliana said in an interview with the Huffington Post.

When looking around for ideas in their engagement pictures, Iliana casually brought up the concept- almost in a half-joking manner, but photographer Cricket Whitman loved the thought and immediately vouched for it.
