A Colorblind Artist Creates Stunningly Detailed Paintings Just like Persian Carpets

A colorblind artist that is based in Miami stunningly creates detailed paintings as a form of his self-expression.

Jason Seife, a graphic designer and at the same time a muralist uses a shading from an ink and acrylic which gives a 3D appearance in every painting.

In an interview with Luxury Defined, Jason said in a statement, “I’ve always been attracted to the designs of Persian Rugs, both aesthetically and for the symbolism that goes into them.” He also added that every original rug’s design are all embedded with a hidden language. Every color, fabric used, or how the carpet weaver knotted, it was all predetermined to where, when, and why they made it.

The painting will take two to three months with all those vivid palettes and meticulous detail.

Jason uses the specific pattern and color to indicate his mental and emotional mindsets into his work. But because of making the paintings hard to distinguish from textile, Jason had been collaborating with Nike and Kobe Bryant to decorate a pair of Air Force 1s, which turns out to be better displayed than wearing it.
