Skylodge Adventure Suites opened on June 2013 in Cuzco, Peru’s Sacred Valley. However, it is not just another forgettable weekend getaway. Its facilities offer a hotel room that is 400 feet in the air strapped only via a safety harness on the side of the mountain. Claiming to be “the first hanging lodge in the world”, it is approximately 20 by 8 feet, separated into three luxury capsule rooms. It features a dining room, bathroom and beds fit for four people to spend the night stargazing on clear skies. What’s amazing is that it is built in weather resistant polycarbonate and aerospace aluminum.

But in order to reach your quarters for the night, you have to undergo one of the most thrilling adventure first by climbing up via cables and ladders. If you’re an adventurous soul then this place is perfect for you! What’s more is that it also complimentary dinner and breakfast. As you descend on your hotel room, you would also be riding via zipline to enjoy 360 degree views of the Sacred Valley suspended up in the air.
The price for the entire experience is about $300 per person.
