Brian Received His Post-It Notes Back From Sophia After 6 Adorable Years
Brian Sandusky, 46, never missed a day for 6 years to stick a Post-It note of words of encouragement and motivation to his step daughter, Sophia Wilcox, 20, so that Sophia before she leaves for school, will feel inspired and supported.
Little did Brian know that Sophia stashed these Post-It notes stashed away in a safe place all these 6 years.
Six years have passed, gone were the days of his daily Post-It notes, Sophia was all grown up now at 20 years old and decided to give back to her adorable stepfather, on Father’s Day.
As the saying goes, “What you have sown, you will reap in a harvest!” all became true for Brian, as on Father’s Day he received a harvest of all his Post-It notes to Sophia for all of those six years, with Brian and Sophia in the middle of the frame complete with a background of motivational hand-written Post-It notes. Sophia decided to youtube Brian upon opening of his Father’s Day gift while this tear-jerking event happened in Maryland. Sophia even tweeted, “During middle school, my step-dad used to leave me a note on my door each day to inspire me. Well, it’s been six years since then. Today I give him those notes back. #HappyFathersDay.”
The event that followed could be enjoyed in a youtube video, so wonderful for viewers across the country, specially to stepfathers who have taken care of their stepdaughters, even if they’re the only ones left in the world.
“Honestly, this is one of the most thoughtful things I’ve ever seen,” one commenter wrote. “You won this gift giving round of Fathers Day 2019,” said another.
What is Brian’s reaction to all of these? Tears, not a word.
