In the village of Obidos, Portugal lies a hotel with a collection of over 50,000 books and is a haven of every book lover. There is no need to bring a copy of a book whenever you make your stop over here…The Literary Man Hotel has it all covered- from volumes of novels, poetry to cookbooks.
Ever since it opened its doors in 2015, it quickly became a famous book hotel for books nerds with its ever-growing collection of literary works, the titles are mostly English. The hotel features 30 bedrooms, an in-house gin bar, and a wine cellar for guests to enjoy.
What’s great is that if you happen to find a book in their collection that you really love- you can purchase it and take it home with you. You can also donate a book in their vast library.
“Our guests love to bring their own books to add to our collections, and the ones that don’t have books with them usually send them later in form of a donation,” a representative told the Daily Mail.
The Literary Man is unique as it is the only library-themed hotel in the world and a stay per night is about $90 per night.
