McDonald’s – New Menu Changes, What Are They?

What are the menu changes at McDonald’s and what does it mean for the future of McDonald’s? Will customers like the new changes?

Will the prices remain the same or will they go up?

These are some excellent questions, and this is something we all will find out on our next visit to a McDonald’s fast food restaurant. I really don’t know about calling it fast food anymore. The menu changes seems to be for kids, athletes, drivers, vegetarians and vegans, as well as low calorie, low sugar, low salt, gluten-free and low-carb options.

McDonald’s is a fast food restaurant and has established a reputation with certain food items. I don’t frequent it on a regular basis, however when I do. I generally like to order the Fish Fillet sandwich with cheese and tartar sauce and fries. When I go to McDonald’s I’m going because I’m hungry and have a taste for these food items. I’m not looking for healthy. I’m sure there are a lot of people that feel this way. There’s no harm in eating without worrying about calories, salt intake or if it’s gluten-free, however when a person continues this habit of eating unhealthy foods. It can turn against you.

My problem with the new menu changes at McDonald’s is, why now?

What are they trying to prove? Are they trying to gradually change their whole menu to a healthy menu? I don’t believe this is a good move for them.

I recommend you to learn about the new menu changes at McDonald’s.

McDonald's Fish fillet

Fish Fillet sandwich with apple slices.

I don’t think I will choose this menu option. I rather cheese and tartar sauce on my fish fillet sandwich, and how about the french fries. No fries, oh no can do.

McDonald's Southwest salad for vegetarians

Southwest salad with fruit and yogurt parfait

I’m not a vegetarian and this is what the menu suggestion is by a nutritionist. I wonder if they will like this menu option. Time will tell how the menu changes works for McDonald’s.

I’m astonished by Mcdees move. They will lose more revenue by people staying away than they will people going to a fast food establishment for a SALAD or a DESSERT?

Yes you can, they just adding some healthier menu items for people that are health conscious. Sometimes change is not so good. Some people will not like it, you know what I’m saying. The prices of the new added items maybe higher.

Buy a McDonald’s Burger, take a napkin dispenser and start squeezing all the greasy liquid out of the burger patties. Don’t be surprised how many napkins it takes to get all the greasey liquid out. Then look at the actual thickness of the meat patties when you complete the napkin soaking up the liquidy grease substance.

Not sure what all is in the greasy looking liquid but the patties get very thin when you squeeze all the liquid out of them.

This is why I order the fish fillet sandwich. The burgers are greasy and not all the good. Thanks for reading and commenting Larry.

That’s why I only eat the fish fillet. I don’t frequent McDonald’s regularly except when I have a taste for the fish fillet. I really like how it taste. How about you?

Terri…. we don’t get to McDonalds at all anymore. San Antonio, Texas has so many high quality burger joints and just about every ethic food restaurant you can think of. For burgers we usually go to Chester’s Burgers. Mostly though we cook fresh meat and produce at home since we mostly eat to live now in our older age.

McDonalds is not trying to shoot themselves in the foot. They are simply trying to keep up with the times. What works, they will keep and discard what does not. What I see is that “The times, they are a changing” for the better. I believe that a healthier menu is a good sign.
